How to use Google's New Adwords Keyword Tool

Google has unveiled their new Adwords Keyword Tool, what they are calling the Keyword Planner, and it looks and works a lot differently than the old keyword research tool you are probably used to. As long as Google gave me the option to use the old keyword too interface, I put off learning the new one, but Google has finally forced the new layout on all of us and it is time to learn how it works.

Finding the time to learn a new tool is not always easy. That and the fact that the new Adwords keyword tool looks so and works so differently than the old one made it easy to procrastinate. However, keyword research for anyone writing a blog is not a good thing to procrastinate about.

I found a video called ‘How to Use the Google Keyword Planner’ from the JM Internet Group, an SEO training provider, that actually took all the pain out of learning the new keyword tool, so I thought I would share it, and hopefully save you some time on the learning curve as well

Give yourself about 20 minutes to watch the video, and you will be up and running on Google’s New Adwords Keyword Tool. I would recommend logging into your Adwords account and actually following along with the video.

Love it or hate it, the Google Adwords Keyword tool is the best way for small business owners to conduct their keyword research. Therefore understanding the tool is essential to them getting their business found online.
